Day 1 – Arrival – Sanur

Selamat Pagi! Welcome to Indonesia! Arrive before 5pm for a free airport pickup from Denpasar Airport (DPS). Transfer over to your accommodation in Seminyak – freshen up (or take a nap after a long flight!) before an induction session outlining the next AMAZING 20 days on Camp! This evening, enjoy a pool party to get to know your fellow Camp mates!

Meals included:

Day 2 – Seminyak Beach Day & Surf Lesson

This morning, head off to catch some waves in an authentic Indonesian Surf lesson on one of Bali’s most beautiful palm fringed beaches! Not your thing? Spend the day soaking up some rays on stretches of white sand and swimming in the warm crystal blue sea waters. Feel free to rent a snorkel and explore Bali’s incredible marine life too!

Meals included:

Day 3 – TanaLot & Sunset Yoga

Today you will head out to Taman Ayun, a major temple and landmark in the village of Mengwi, 17km northwest of Denpasar. Afterwards, you will visit Tanah Lot; probably one of Bali’s most holy and naturally beautiful sites. This sea-side temple is perched precariously on an eroded rocky outcrop, connected to the shore only at low tide. Grab a few pics for the gram before sunset, then get ready for an incredible sunset yoga class with our professional instructor. Prepare to feel refreshed and rejuvenated!

Don’t forget your Sarongs for visiting the temples, and be sure to bring some Indonesian Rupiah along too, as TanahLot features an authentic quirky market where you can buy the most beautiful souvenirs and tasty Balinese street food!

Meals included:

Day 4 & 5 – Volunteering at Serangan Turtle Conservation

Spend the next 2 days learning and caring for Balinese turtles! All recent sea turtle species are endangered due to human activity. Not only hunting and consumption of eggs, but also pollution of the ocean and destruction of breeding beaches has decreased the turtle population dramatically over the last few years. That’s why we’re here to help!

You’ll spend your days helping to feed them, maintaining and cleaning the sanctuary grounds, cleaning enclosures, supporting the environmental education programs, repairing animal education displays and doing beach clean ups!

On your final day, be sure to get that all-important Turtle selfie!

Meals included:

Day 6 – Transfer Seminyak to Ubud

After breakfast, it’s time to move on to the cultural hotbed of Ubud! Featuring luscious rice fields, quirky markets and an abundance of Balinese and western restaurants and cafes! Upon arrival, check in to your accommodation and take a dip in the pool or have a wander around the local area. This evening is yours to do as you please. We recommend heading into the centre of Ubud to check out the abundance of traditional quirky balinese cafe’s, restaurants and bars!

Meals included:

Day 7 & 8 – Volunteering Program in Ubud

Time to get your hands dirty! The next 2 days will be spent getting involved with a community service project! Teach Balinese children English, renovate and paint kindergartens, schools or temples around Ubud, supporting local families and children; providing them with better living conditions. A truly fulfilling and rewarding experience!

If partaking in teaching, you will receive lesson planning training and assistance from our reps beforehand, to help you prepare your lessons.

Meals included:

Day 9 – Ubud Tour

Time to explore Ubud! Spend the day immersing yourself in true Indonesian culture – today certainly isn’t the day to leave your camera behind! First stop is The Monkey Forest, also known as the Sacred Monkey Forest of Padangtegal. This is one of Ubud’s most popular attractions; a natural forest sanctuary that is home to a horde of grey long-tailed macaques! Come face to face with these amazing animals, they may even let you feed them or get that all important Monkey Selfie!

Continue your tour with a visit to Tegenungan Waterfall. This beautiful waterfall is hidden away in a luscious green valley. Enjoy swimming and splashing in its clear, refreshing waters before heading to the gorgeous temple complex Tirta Empul, as well as a famous Rice Field on the way back to the hotel!

Meals included:

While every year millions of tourists are attracted to Bali, many places on Lombok are still untouched and mass tourism is still unknown there! Lombok offers many empty and often isolated palm fringed white sandy beaches, friendly locals, tasty food and fantastic culture! Your driver will drop you at the harbor where you will catch a fast boat over to the island, taking in the stunning views from afar!
