Argentina – a land of hot and cold! From the northern borders fringing on the Tropic of Capricorn to the southern most parts of the civilised world being the closest to Antarctica. The mountainous terrain is inhabited with almost indigenous and simple villages and towns are a stark contrast to the bustling, emerging cities such as Buenos Aires and Santa Fé. The former now home to over 10,000,000 people! During your stay at Camp Argentina you will be based in the Barracas neighborhood of Buenos Aires. As the capital and largest city in Argentina, you'll never be bored when you're just a short journey into the centre where you can experience the city at it's best.


Coaching sports.

The experience

At Camp Argentina you will be making a difference by coaching a variety of sports. How will this make a difference? You will play an important role in helping the children in developing parts Buenos Aires turn their interests from the prominent gang culture to sports. As you can see, you will be making a direct impact to the future lives of these children by making them passionate about sports and building positive relationships with them. When you aren't volunteering there is a variety of activities for you to immerse yourself within, Buenos Aires as a city provides so many cultural and thrilling opportunities to immerse yourself within. On the weekends it is highly recommended to explore local areas. You can check out La Bomba del Tiempo drums show, an unmissable experience or even visit the iconic city El Tigre, both included in this incredible adventure. Through volunteering and these incredible activities, you'll be making life long memories, new best friends and awesome experience to add to your CV. It really is a no-brainer, Camp Argentina is the camp for you this summer.


  • On your arrival day you will be met by a Camp Argentina rep at the airport before being transferred for your new home for the next few weeks. Time to get settled in and meet your new best friends!
  • During the week (Monday - Friday) you will be volunteering coaching a variety of sports. A typical day will comprise of beginning work in the afternoon between 1:00pm and 3:00pm and you will return at 7:00-8.30pm in the evening for dinner. If you choose to do Spanish lessons and develop your language skills, these will take place in the morning for an additional cost.
  • If you choose to coach specifically football, your coaching will run throughout the morning from 8:30pm to 11:30pm, leaving you with the afternoon to fully immerse yourself in Argentine culture and explore the surrounding areas!
  • On the weekends and free days you are welcome to explore the surrounding areas with other volunteers, at times there will be activities arranged for you such as La Bomba del Tiempo drums show and Tango classes. There are additional activities which you can pay for such as a City Tour or a visit to Colonia in Uruguay.
  • It is recommended that volunteers take an introductory Spanish course every morning, during their first week in Argentina in order to teach volunteers vocabulary relating to their chosen sport.

  • Accommodation for your experience at Camp Argentina, shared between 2-5 people per room with a shared bathroom and locker (individual room can be booked for an additional cost).
