During your Camp Kenya experience you will be based in Nairobi, the most up and coming city in East Africa. This city has a variety of charms to lure you in, with an energetic culture, booming nightlife and mouth-watering cuisine

Teaching English, Coaching Sports or Working in an Orphanage.
At Camp Kenya there are a variety of volunteering options for you to choose from, one in an orphanage where you assist in the day to day operations, caring for the children and helping to run it. On the other hand you can choose to work within a local elementary and high school where you can teach a variety of subjects, such as English or sports, depending on your abilities.
When you're not volunteering, we have a range of activities for you to get involved in, with Mt Kilimanjaro just a stones throw away, opportunities to experience safaris and excursions to surrounding landmarks, your camera better be at the ready. You'll be making incredible memories as well as adding worthwhile experience to your CV all whilst having one of the best experiences of your life. What are you waiting for? Camp Kenya awaits!
Day 1 (Sat) – Arrival at Nairobi
Get picked up from Huma Kentyatta Airport (Nairobi). Meet you fellow Camp Kenya volunteers, head out to local market and get settled in.
Day 2 (Sun) – Program Orientation followed by visit to Giraffe Manor and city tour of Nairobi
After Breakfast your Camp Kenya program coordinator will run over your program itinerary for the days to come and brief on the essential information for the program. On this day, you will also get to feed Giraffes and explore the local area!
Day 3 (Mon) to Day 7 (Fri) – Volunteering in Nairobi
Your Camp Kenya volunteer work now begins. You'll get to organise fun and games in orphanages, day care centres for 4-6 hours/day.
Day 8 (Sat) to Day 9 (Sun) – Masai Mara Safari (2 days/1 night)
These days are really exciting! Head on a once in the life time adventure to see the "The Big 5 of Africa" and camp out at the famous Masai Mara Safari Park.
Day 10 (Mon) to Day 13 (Thu) – Camp Kenya volunteer work. The kids will now be familiar with you so this is where the work becomes really rewarding.
Day 14 (Fri) – Mamba Village and Bomas of Kenya
Enjoy a great day out to see the amazing Nile crocodiles, ostrich farms and some lovely meals with your fellow Camp Kenya Volunteers.
Day 15 (Sat) – Departure from Nairobi
Head back to the airport for your International flight.
