Thailand, one of the top destinations in the world has so much for everyone; beautiful beaches, island hopping, elephants, tropical jungles and mountains, tuk tuks, pad thai, Muay Thai boxing and waterfalls. It's a cram-packed country of fun and adventure; it has so much variety and offers so much! Taking this into consideration, here at Camp Thailand, we don't just have one location for you to choose from, but four!
Teach English in local schools and a day elephant conservation.
There's a reason Camp Thailand is one of the world's leading summer camp programmes - it combines the best elements of a summer camp experience with so much variety and culture. It's such a rewarding experience teaching in the schools and the kids are so appreciative. To see the smiles on their faces after class and hear "teacher, teacher, selfie selfie?" is so heart warming. Elephant selfies? One of the highlights of the trip. To get up close and personal with Thailand's majestic elephants is incredible. Camp Thailand believes in the philosophy, "no riding, no bull hooks...just love" and are truly making a difference to help protect as many elephants as possible. You'll be fully educated in the ongoings of Thailand's elephant culture, so together we can all spread awareness to encourage change. On top of this we include so many fun activities, whether it's trips to waterfalls, temples, bamboo rafting, muay thai boxing, monkey temple or the silk village. We have four locations to choose from, all with their own unique activities. One of the highlights is being part of a group and making so many friends; everyone leaves with a friend for life.
